Bayerebon No.3 School is located in a small cocoa-producing community a few hours drive to the west of Kumasi.

The junior school has over 550 students and serves ten small villages and hamlets. Some children live nearby, some walk 2-3 miles to get to school. The nearest secondary school is about an hour away and charges fees. As most parents here cannot afford it, few of the children who pass the junior high exams continue to the secondary school.

Great Fammis School has around 300 students and is located in the town of Akomadan, about 100km north of Kumasi.

The area has a strong cocoa producing heritage, though tomato farming is also an important crop in this area and many of the children at the school are from tomato farming families. The junior school was built with Fairtrade Premium earnings in memory of the founder of Kuapa Kokoo, Nana Frimpong Abrebrese, who came from Akomadan.
